I never imagined that meeting a LinkedIn connection of mine offline would change my views on leadership. I was meeting Ammy Shiflet for a coffee offline, having engaged in many conversations with her on LinkedIn. When we eventually online she said one of the most poignant lessons I've ever learned. Having been a former leader in a Georgia based Company , she shared how much I had changed her view on traditional leadership. That it wasn't about power or hierarchy, and that it was much more about inspiring and influencing people.
